NorthPaw Wellness offers Canine Massage Therapy provided by a Registered Veterinary Technician, supporting your dog’s physical and emotional wellbeing. Sessions are offered at Scugog Animal Hospital in Port Perry, ON.

Through gentle, mindful touch and individualized care, each session is designed to help ease muscle tension, encourage healthy movement, improve circulation, and promote deep relaxation.

Canine Massage Therapy may support dogs at all life stages, including seniors, active dogs, anxious dogs, and those recovering from injury or surgery with veterinary guidance.

This therapy works in harmony with veterinary care to nurture balance, comfort, and overall quality of life.

Initial Assessment & Massage

Service Fee $105.00 (60-75minutes)

This first appointment is designed to gather a full picture of your dog’s needs and create a personalized massage plan.

Includes:

  • Detailed health history review

  • Discussion of clients goals and concerns

  • Gait and mobility observation

  • Assessment of posture, muscle tension, and comfort

  • Full therapeutic massage session tailored to your dog

  • Rest breaks and pacing based on your dog’s tolerance

  • Aftercare guidance and at-home support recommendations

This session allows time to build trust, establish a baseline, and ensure massage is appropriate and beneficial for your dog.


Follow-up Massage

Service Fee $80.00 (45-60mins)

Follow-up sessions build on your dog’s previous response and focus on ongoing comfort, mobility, and progress.

Includes:

  • Brief check-in and review of any changes since the last session

  • Reassessment of movement, comfort, and tension

  • Adjustments to techniques and pressure as needed

  • Rest breaks and pacing based on your dog’s tolerance

  • Updated aftercare recommendations

Follow-up sessions are customized each visit and evolve with your dog’s progress, comfort level, and goals


Follow-Up Massage + Brief History Review

*Recommended if there have been significant changes in health, mobility, or if it has been more than 6 months since the last session

Service Fee $95.00 (60-75mins)

Includes:

  • Brief review of health and medical history

  • Discussion of any changes in lifestyle, mobility, or goals

  • Gait and mobility observation

  • Reassessment of posture, muscle tension, and comfort

  • Therapeutic massage session adapted to current needs

  • Rest breaks and pacing based on your dog’s tolerance

  • Aftercare guidance and updated at-home recommendations

This appointment helps ensure massage remains appropriate, effective, and aligned with your dog’s current health status.
